Coastal Bunker, Cape Town

A double-storey seaside Bunker with its clean-lined, mid-century feel was newly built just steps from the ocean and tucked into fynbos, in a holiday hamlet on the pristine shores of Walker Bay near Cape Town. A home designed for open-plan pleasure that maximises on an abundance of natural light, location and honesty to materials.

We loved making the Ivor Oval Table in Oak Natural and generous Ivor Bench upholstered in Moroccan Green leather for the dining area upstairs, with a customised Manu Server in ebonised Oak to serve as a drinks cabinet. The thoughtful use of warm oak furniture and fresh green tones continues downstairs in the hallway with an Ivor Console Table in Oak Natural.

Despite its laid-back aesthetic, this Coastal Bunker combines its ideal situation with context-driven, clean-lined architecture and interiors.
