Beau Bar Chef’s Warehouse, South Africa
Brief - to create a signature bar for the new restaurant at their family owned, boutique winery Beau Constantia. Inspiration was drawn from the landscape of the dramatically undulating vineyards of high Constantia, visually accentuated by the cultivated vines, and overlooked by the winery nestled into the mountainside.
AVOOVA Backgammon
We have joined forces with Tom Goddard of AVOOVA to develop one of the most beautiful and luxurious backgammon boards available, designed and made entirely by hand, for the most highly-discerning backgammon players.
Journal: Cecily’s Table
Brief – the client wanted a dining table that would make a statement but also integrate effortlessly into their large, open plan living area already furnished with carefully sourced chairs, lighting and artwork.
Case Study: Van Vliet Collection
Brief – the clients were leaving behind their traditional furniture as they downscaled into their new house, and specified they wanted a collection of pieces that would be contemporary, and as quiet and pared back as possible.
Bespoke: The Watkins Bar Stool
Brief – The high end bespoke kitchen company Cabinet Works, approached us with a client that loved our Draper Stools but wanted an oversized , generous chair version for their personal whiskey bar.
Collaboration: ‘Mandela Series’ coin boxes
In 2015 Andrew Dominic were approached by Breinstorm Brand Architects to work in collaboration with them to develop a series of limited edition boxes for the South African Mint as part of their Mandela Series commemorative gift collection.
Frazer Parfum Bok, South Africa
Tammy Frazer is a well-known South African based parfumer, whose grandfather created Oil of Olay. A self respected parfumer in her own right, Tammy runs Frazer Parfums who create thoughtful perfume products that capture the raw earthiness of Africa.
Decorex London
In 2019 we approached the interior stylist and design consultant Alex Kristal, of Made Good Studio in London, to design our stand for Decorex International at Olympia.
Seed to Seat, South Africa
Seven of the most prominent and exciting designers based in South Africa were selected to participate in the Seed to Seat exhibition, South Africa by the American Hardwood Export Council to demonstrate how good design and US hardwoods can leave a light environmental footprint. The exhibition was unveiled in August 2017 at 100% Design South Africa in Johannesburg.
Bergman & Mar, London
Bergman & Mar invited talented emerging and established craftspeople to exhibit their work in a project titled 'The Makers', a show apartment in Chiswick, West London for Property Developers - Pocket Living.
Louise Holt, Oxford
A 16,000 sqft house set in Oxfordshire parkland with free flowing interior spaces and uninterrupted views across the gardens, has been carefully crafted by interior designer Louise Holt. Furniture is curated with a fine balance of timeless and statement pieces, 3 pieces from our Franc and Manu Collections set the tone for the neutral palette of natural materials creating a calm feel to the house.
The Pomander House, London
We have recently completed a collaboration with interior design studio Robert London Design creating a bespoke dining table for a four storey Edwardian family home in West London. The client was drawn to a clean Scandinavian aesthetic with timber floors, a neutral and pared back colour scheme running through the home which has resulted in both a refined sanctuary, and the hub for a busy family.
Casamento Design, Cape Town
Earlier this year, a wonderful client ordered furniture from a couple of our Collections, including a Franc Ottoman. They asked Starry Eve Collect of Casamento if they would create a bespoke hand-embroidered cushion for the ottoman. We worked with Casamento on the very first Franc Ottoman made in 2015, and seven years later we had the pleasure of collaborating on the most unique Franc Ottoman we’ve made to date.

We are delighted to be represented by Jacket Curated in Sydney. Established by Jacci Samios and Ockert Dixon, they offer artfully crafted furniture and lighting pieces by internationally acclaimed and prestigious Makers and Designers.

Our Franc Server has been commissioned by Sarah Brink Design for a project in Holland Park, London, featured in Vogue Poland.
Sea View Villa, Devon
We were approached by London-based Pernille Lind Studio to make bespoke furniture pieces alongside some of our favourite designs from our own Furniture Collections, for a beautiful coastal residential project in South Devon.
Coastal Bunker, Cape Town
A double-storey seaside bunker with its clean-lined, mid-century feel was newly built just steps from the ocean and tucked into fynbos, in a holiday hamlet on the pristine shores of Walker Bay near Cape Town.
